Big brother to the "Mini", the Monangahela is a multi-purpose knife that comfortably fits the hand, yet is still small enough for use with a neck or boot sheath. The carbon-steel blade has a smooth taper from 1" wide at the hilt down the 4" of its length and features an acid-etched Damascus-like finish. The Monangahela, at only 7 1/2", sports and streamlined horn handle attached with 5 brass pins and artistic touches along the blade ricasso. |

The epitome of good, early American style, this strong dagger dates from the late 1700s. The brass guard forms a sweeping S-curve below the solid brass ferrule joining the walnut grip, with the entire assembly neatly riveted to the tang. Overall length is approximately 12", with a 3/8" thick, 7 1/4" long, double-edged carbon steel blade. An incised, hand-laced leather sheath is included. |
